Our next Maternity & Newborn Task Group for Southwark Link is tomorrow – Thursday 8th December, 10,30am – 12.30pm, Dulwich Community Hospital,
 
The meeting will be preparing the issues and concerns to be raised regarding Maternity Services, specifically the:
                – fragmentation of services
                – limited space and premises for Midwives
                – the current issues with the Maternity Pathway from finding out you are pregnant to being discharged from your midwives / health visitor
                – and the present and future risks
We will be meeting the Lead Commissioner for Maternity Services on Thursday 15th December, 10.30am – 12.30pm, to raise these issues with her and will be receiving a response to all our issues and concerns.
 
We welcome you to join us tomorrow to share your maternity experiences and issues raised so that we can make sure we ask these questions to the person in charge of Maternity Commissioned services. If you know of a recent mother who gave birth in Southwark, a grandmother, a father or friend / relative who you think would be interested, please forward them know about it.
